Academic Study Leave (ASL) Opportunities | Have your say in Te Pūkenga’s operating model

Have your say in Te Pūkenga’s operating model – Get involved and share your ideas on the ‘Our Journey’ space for the co-design of Te Pūkenga and the future of vocational education.  These topics are open for comment from everyone (colleagues, learners, and anyone else interested in vocational education) until Friday 19 March:

  • Transitions and pathways
  • Enrolment and first days
  • Ako and learning experience
  • Care and relationships
  • Employer value
  • Equity: Māori learners
  • Equity: Pasifika learners
  • Equity: Learners with disabilities

Academic Study Leave (ASL) Opportunities – If you are eligible for ASL (to be taken in 2022) you will receive written notification from the People & Culture team by 30th of April 2021. This notification then opens up the opportunity for you to discuss your intention to apply for ASL (and what you propose to study) with your Manager or Head of Department. Upon this discussion the next step is to formally apply. You can check the terms and conditions as outlined in the AASC CEA Agreement or TEU Collective agreement that are both available on Waituhi.
